Here are the pets you can collect from the Undermine(d) patch with over 40 pets added to our ever-growing collection. A number will come from wild battles, reputation and a handful of vendor sources. A few will even lead you back to Zuldazar and The Ringing Deeps.
Achievement
Foreman – Family Battler of Undermine defeat the 4 elite pets and trainers of Undermine with a team of all level 25 [family] pets. See my video strategies on YouTube.
Eagerly attends every cookout. He just wants to grill for gob’s sake!
Iron Chick – In with the Cartels
Shrugs off boiling oil and eleven secret herbs and spices. Just don’t introduce it to rust.
Drop
Craboom – drops from Swampface the 3rd boss in the Operation: Floodgate dungeon including the Follower dungeon.
Small, snappy, and with a temper as explosive as its name. Handle with caution!
Mr. DELVER drops from the Goblin Delve’s Heavy Trunk
Originally built by Dr. DELVER to compete with renowned treasure hunter Brann Bronzebeard. Never really panned out though, so now he just helps out.
Pet Battle
Catch twelve battle pets from the Undermine, Zandalar, and The Ringing Deeps for the Undermine Safari achievement – rewards Lettuce.
Note: There are three rare spawns in Undermine, but there may only be one up at a time since I finally spotted the Ultrahopper EX, and then captured the Paleshell Crab, followed by the Acid-Drenched Rat right after that. If you’re having trouble locating these, you may have a better chance at night or early in the morning since the server is less populated. Mine was up at ~10.13 pm. Others have suggested switching to War Mode.
Ultrahopper EX – Appears around the Hovel Hill area, Undermine. Found mine hopping along the street at ~29, 32.
Faster. Stronger. And it can double jump.
Paleshell Crab – These seem to be a rare version of the Cave Crabs in the Blackwater Marina area of the Undermine.
Paleshell cave crabs are said to be the tastiest variety. Perhaps that’s why they’re the hardest to find.
Acid-Drenched Rat – appears to share a spawn with the other critters in the sludge areas of the Vatworks of Undermine.
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: they fell into a vat of radioactive acid.
Rare Skins
Cave Crab – located around the Blackwater Marina area, Undermine
Buried amid sand and sediment, these crabs blend right into their environment.
- purple with green shell (76%)
- blue with yellow shell (19%)
- orange with purple shell (3%)
Bombshell Crab – Undermine
The natural habitat of these crabs is so polluted and devoid of shells that they’ve been forced to take shelter in discarded goblin munitions. Are you gonna keep littering after learning that?
- purple body with blue bomb (76.9%).
- red body with black bomb (19.2%)
- orange body with purple bomb (3.8%)
Underroach – Undermine
Scientists, engineers, and gamers of Undermine must keep their desks clean lest they be visited by the underroaches.
- brown with blue eyes (86%)
- orange with green eyes (13%)
Hemospore – found mine at The Writhing Fields, The Ringing Deeps at 71,91, 72, 94 and 73, 91.

- blue (90.1%).
- red (9.0%)
- grey (0.9%)
Venture Bombshell – the easiest one to find in Undermine
In a pinch, Venture Co. workers might use these creatures for some impromptu demolition. Get it? Pinch?
- green with yellow bomb (80%)
- purple with green bomb (20%)
Wily Rat – Undermine
The thicker and more gangly the whiskers, the more devious the rodent. That’s just basic biology.
- dark grey with yellow eyes (64%)
- brown with orange eyes (25%)
- light grey with blue eyes (9%)
One skin
Alchemical Runoff – They can be found inside a building at 44, 89 in The Heaps area of Undermine. To engage one, target it outside as the building obstructs the battling area. They sometimes appear outside too.
Lab leaks are sometimes dangerous. Sometimes, they’re cute. Sometimes, both!
Spring-Loaded Ribbitron – Undermine
A robotic frog might seem useless, but once you’re attacked by a swarm of mechanical flies, you’ll be wishing you had one.
Varmint MK II – Undermine
Before the Mark II, Varmints were a sorry excuse for an annoying and over-engineered pest. Now, though? They’re absolutely infuriating!
Lime Roboclucker – Undermine
The acid-green accents add a sporty vibe to this flightless robotic bird thing.
Frenzied Bloodtick – found mine at The Writhing Fields, The Ringing Deeps (70, 97)
Most people don’t find congealed blood particularly appetizing. Bloodticks, though…
Kaja Crab – Kaja’ Coast, Zuldazar. Found a few leading up to the mine from the shore at ~20, 58
Did it spend too long near kaja’mite? Did someone give it kaja’cola? Who knows, but the name is great branding.
Tropical Frog – Kaja’ Coast, Zuldazar. Found mine at 21, 56
A recent excavation on Zuldazar obliterated the natural habitat of these creatures and sent them spilling into the wilds.
Quest
Gorillion – starts with the Inoperative Gorillion quest. Collect the items from the five Muff’s Auto-Lockers around Undermine.
- Gorillion Grease – 71, 85
- Gorillion Batteries – 75, 22
- Gorillion Engine – 56, 55

Then combine them into the Inoperative Gorillion which needs to be repaired by Ditty Fuzeboy. He also sells six pets. (see below)
Gorillion possesses the strength of not one, but FIVE gorillas.

Fun for the whole family! A self-detonating robot for all occasions!
Spotty – Complete the Oh, Rats! storyline offered by Humphrey Shortswig. You must complete chapter four, Breaking the Shackles to see the quest. You’ll see it on the map when it becomes available. (see video)
People get turned into rats sometimes. It’s not that weird.
Vendor
Angelo Rustbin (25, 38) is the S.C.R.A.P Exchange vendor in the Undermine Sanitation building of Hovel Hill. Vintage Kaja’Cola Cans are unlocked at renown 14 and have a chance to appear in seven S.C.R.A.P Heaps around the zone. The active one will be marked with a Trash Can on your map.
- Viridian Mechasaur – a chance to drop from the Sifted Pile of Scrap containers in exchange for 333x Empty Kaja’Cola Cans
It totally fell into a pit of acid but then it came back ten times stronger! So cool!!! - Cruncher – costs 1x Vintage Kaja’Cola Can
The itchy legs! The wiggly antennae! Okay, fine, he’s not cute. But he’s trying! - Lab Rat – costs 3x Vintage Kaja’Cola Cans
They weren’t lying, this rat can absolutely get that dang cheese.

Currently, the sources are unknown or have been removed from the journal.
Gleam drops from Gallagio Garbage in the Undermine. To spawn him, you need to fill the “Trash Shoveled” progress bar during a S.C.R.A.P. Job event (marked with a trash can icon on the map) in Undermine. He seems to be a pretty low spawn and a daily lockout per toon. You’ll also get an achievement after the first kill – Can You Believe What People Throw Away?
The Gallagio is well-known in Undermine for unexpectedly animating piles of valuables in unexpected places.
These pets are cageable indicating they will be a drop or vendor source.
