With so many mini-patches, seeing a few additions from the recent crossover and other limited events is nice.

Hearthstone 10th Anniversary – 10.2.5

sargeSarge – Hearthstone 10th Anniversary crossover event (March 11, 2024 – March 18, 2024)

When he’s not hanging out with Harth Stonebrew or winning competitions at the tavern, Sarge loves to stow away in the backpacks of visiting adventurers.

Sarge had a chance to drop from the hourly event in Valdrakken, Orgrimmar or Stormwind if you helped kill the last Hearthstone-themed boss Dr. Doom.

The event has been extended, and is now scheduled to end Friday, March 22nd. Portals will also spawn every half hour instead of every hour.

In other news, there was a major update to Pet Charms that kind of went under the radar.

Shiny Charms will be converted to Polished Charms at a 1 to 1 ratio, and items/pets sold for Shiny will now be sold for Polished. World Quests and dailies that previously rewarded Shiny will now reward Polished Pet Charms.

This meant I could finally purchase Scout.

Plunderstorm – 10.2.6

Patch 10.2.6 was all about maximising plunder by collecting any treasure piles on the ground or looted from defeated players before the storm or another player killed you – unless you were the last one standing.

It doesn’t seem to know where it is, but it’s happy to be here!

Bubbles – Renown 11

Where do all of the bubbles come from? What are they made of? Perhaps some mysteries are best left unexplored.

Pinchy – Renown 11 (Classic-only companion)

Glamrok – Renown 30 (see animation. Try /dance for another animation)

Glamrok followed you back to the ship one day after a particularly good plunder, sensing your keen knack for treasure-finding.

This was the closest I had to a win before grinding my way to renown 40 with the Keg Leg’s Crew. If only I realised you could chat in there… =/

Dark Heart – 10.2.7

The final patch of the expansion adds a couple more to the collection. Only available during WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, the time-limited event that allows players to re-experience the entirety of the Mists of Pandaria expansion at an accelerated rate from level 10 through 70.

Astral Emperor’s Serpentling – Pandaria: Remix – Timeless Isle achievement

It is said that the Astral Emperor wove these creatures from the stuff of the stars themselves. It is also said that he used only the cutest star-stuff.

Elusive Foes: Timeless Isle was the most annoying part of this achievement since only one of the rares out of the first 5 or so I’d killed counted towards the meta. Although I have access to Ordos from completing the legendary cloak back then, Ordos wasn’t a popular option since many people were locked out of the area if they didn’t have Wrathian’s cloak. However, I read on Twitter, that if you max out your cloak (rank 12) or reach Honoured with Emperor Shaohao rep, you can cross the bridge and won’t get ported out of his room.
