There’s a new challenge coming in patch 7.3.5, likely inspired by a recent pet forum post. The Mailemental guide details the steps you need to collect the Manapoof lookalike – Breanni’s companion in the Magical Menagerie. His abilities are Package Drop, Express Delivery, Snail Mail, Junk Mail, Return to Sender and Hate Mail – mostly humanoid damage, with some critter and magic damage too. He even carries a letter in his hand. :)

Postmasterletter Mailemental Guide

Start by looting the Lost Mail (2-3hr respawn) near one of several mailboxes in Dalaran and deliver the letter to Madam Goya in the Underbelly. The item is Bind on Used but once you’ve completed the questline, a copy is mailed to you so you can give it to a friend or list on the AH.

A new letter appears in your mailbox, summoning you to the Postmaster’s Office, right by the pet cemetery.

Complete the quests:

  • Return to Sender
  • A Huge Package – fly over the walls but you’ll still be extra slow =/
  • Priority Delivery – scales to your level
  • Service with a Smile – if you are hated by the goblin faction you will not be able to complete this part. However, you can log onto another character to complete it.
  • Due Reward

Head back to the Postmaster’s Office for a new quest and minigame.

The Mail Must Flow – sort 15 letters correctly in a minute.
Achievement Reward: The Total Package

This is followed by the next two achievements:

  • Post Haste – sort 30 letters in 60 seconds
    Pet Reward: Mailemental pet
  • Priority Mail (account-wide) – sort 30 partially addressed letters within 60 seconds.
    Title Reward and Toy: Postmaster title and toy whistle to summon Katy Stampwhistle

NOTE: I noticed the toy mailbox in my journal without completing Priority Mail so I’m not sure if it came with the first achievement or second. Not sure if this was a bug or just wasn’t updated before going live. Either way, I highly suggest doing the first couple of achievements, in case it’s hotfixed later. Also, it doesn’t share a CD with the engineering mailbox. :D

This was a fun little questline. The hardest part was waiting 2 hours for the breadcrumb quest. What do you think of this new pet?
