Harrison Jones is one of five daily NPCs to visit your Garrison each day. You will need to complete a series of quests for the Master Relic Hunter achievement rewarding you with Harrison Jones as a follower.
Master Relic Hunter
Here’s the complete list of guides to each relic hunter quest:
- The Blessing of Beasts
- The Apexis Device
- Taking from the Taker
- Breaching the Barrier
- The Spirit Forge
- The Crystal Reborn
which includes some video playthroughs.
You’ll find him in your Town Hall with a book of Relic Hunting Notes (located on the floor next to him).
In this book are catalogued notes of your past relic hunts.
If at any point you happen to lose your way, you can consult these notes to pick up where you’ve left off.
Originally he was listed as a hunter for Alliance, which seemed like an odd choice since he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty but I guess he’s used his fair share of guns. Personally, I’d like to see him as a Disc Priest like Cymre Brightblade but I guess the survival bit fits.
Now he appears as a Subtlety Rogue for both factions offering a unique ability and trait: Explorer Extraordinaire and Mentor or Extreme Scavenger. As soon as he turned epic, I gave him the Blademaster’s Necklace one of my garrison campaign rewards.
Scavenger was later nerfed to 100% since it was rewarding a HUGE amount of resources, particularly if you stacked more than one follower with the trait. Even so, you can be sure he’ll be on my active list of followers. His other abilities are what you’d expect for a rogue but he also carries the Treasure Hunter trait which increases the gold gained by 100%.
It’s no surprise he’ll be my favourite follower this patch. I always get a kick out of seeing him in each expansion, especially that epic questline in Uldum. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to see him roaming around my Garrison. Now to send him on his first mission.
Welcome to the team, Harry.
You know Harrison, he’s probably out scouting a dig site or something. I think I have two or three more to go. I didn’t think to check group finder for a couple of days after the patch, I’m behind!
I forgot about the spawn point (on the hill outside the barracks) when you recruit new followers. Funnily enough, he didn’t come up when I spammed my macro. Have fun doing the last few :)
