For the month of March, I’m celebrating the colour orange as part of Jstmel’s transmog challenge. This also happened to be the perfect opportunity to create a mog around the Robes of the Battleguard. I’ve always loved the look of these Princess Leia dresses but they can also be a little tricky to style.
Atum was the ancient Egyptian god who symbolised the setting sun so with that in mind I wanted to design a smokin’ theme.
These days, farming the Circle of Flame is a lot easier given the conveniently placed mole machines inside BRD. Initially, I used my Direbrew Remote to get to the Grim Guzzler and picked up my obligatory Dire Brew when I reached the top of the bar. From there, I made my way into the Chamber of Enchantment. The hard part was getting the item to actually drop from Ambassadar Flamelash.
Circle of Flame, Mantle of Closed Doors, Robes of the Battleguard, Ebony Flame Gloves, Ruthless Gladiator’s Cord of Accuracy, Cloudscorcher Leggings, Footwraps of the Oracle, Spire of Coagulated Globules
Some of these I already own including the priest only footwraps from AQ and PVP belt. The Doomcaller’s Footwraps (which are the warlock equivalent) may offer a better match but I wanted to add a little more green to complement the belt. However, if you’re using a two-piece set, the Firescribe Dagger and Igniter Rod are a couple of alternatives.
It’s getting hot in here…
Glad to see you’ve made an outfit for March’s leg. Was surprised I didn’t see one for February. When I didn’t get an email from you for Feb’s I thought you didn’t like me anymore….lol…j/k.
Will have to go check my email now.
Oh whoops, I did do one for Feb but didn’t email you – mine was here :P
