Wild Pets can be found throughout each continent, some being more rare than others. To collect one, you’ll need to engage it in battle with one of your current pets, successfully capture it and win the battle if there are more than one to a team.
It turns out that Eastern Kingdoms had more of an unusual selection compared to Kalimdor.

I think my favorite is definitely the little ram. Geez, I guess I’d better start paying attention to pet battle info.
I haven’t seen a lot of those yet. I’ll have to look them up. I am less than 20 pets away from getting the Feral Vermling pet. Right now I am struggling to get past the Master Pet tamer of Outland. He is TOUGH!!! with his level 24 pets.

I love seeing all the upcoming pets. I stopped playing the beta not to spoil it, trying to avoid reading about it, but the pets! I just have to know so I can plan. I must have the Lava Beetle or my WoW life will not be complete!
