I was surprised to find that I had ranked 4th in the last round for Mog Madness. The last set of results were so varied, I was impressed with everyone’s creativity. I was initially afraid that creating one’s outfit based around the same weapon would result in a lot of similar results. I’m so glad they weren’t.
Mog Madness Round Three:
- When: April 2nd – 6th (judging results revealed April 8th)
- Who: Our Final 15.
- How: Send an e-mail with your screenshot(s) to arcanewordsmith@gmail.com or post your entry here, Effy’s RP, or Tome of the Ancient.
- Mog Requirement: As I’ve submitted a “what I would have entered” each round, this round is no different as that picture contains the requirement for Round Three. Yes, unfortunately we’ve asking you to get Mail creative again as you set out to build around: The Wavemender’s Mantle
Head: Spiritwalker’s Faceguard
Shoulder: The Wavemender’s Mantle
Chest: Sanctified Frost Witch’s Tunic
Waist: Cord of Dragon Sinew
Legs: Kilt of Raging Elements
Hands: Spiritwalker’s Gloves
Feet: Vicious Gladiator’s sabatons
Main Hand: Axe of the Sen’jin Protector
Off Hand: Spirit of Resolve
I must admit, I had a lot of trouble coming up with an outfit I liked. In fact, I came up with four variations, including colour combinations. I’ve added one of the variations that I didn’t end up using for fun.
Alternate Options
Hands: Crystalhide Handwraps
Main Hand: Claws of Agony
Off-Hand: Claws of Torment
I like it alot, especially your choice of character and the Horde themed bits. The addition of the red in the dress/shield goes well with the bronze of the shoulder spikes and the blue ties the whole lot together.
This includes pieces from three of my favorite tiers: T10, T11, and T13! Shaman have such a great variety of pieces…
Wow, you guys just keep stepping up and raising the bar!

Wow. This is one of the most effective mixings of items from a whole range of Tiers I’ve ever seen! Because I play a Shaman, I can look at this and say “that piece is from Tier X, this piece is from Tier Y, and this other piece here is from Tier Z”, but they all go so well together and make such a cohesive appearance that the whole design could be a Tier of its own. Plus, the boldness of the red and blue together looks great!
