A surprising thing happened when I killed one of the Pandarian Champions today. I had my first epic drop but that wasn’t the most interesting thing about it. Not only was it a cloth piece, it was a pair of pants (which I didn’t think much of at the time since my gear is higher) but since I am a mogaholic, I decided to preview them on my character.
It seems there’s a new alternative to the Black Mageweave Leggings and the Ancestral Woollies (plus look-alikes) of Azeroth.
Personally, I don’t really like either of the commonly used choices, although I have been known to use them on occasion. Most recently, I used a variation, as seen in one of my previous designs.
Before I vendored them, I wanted to see if they could actually achieve what our Armed and Dangerous toons had waited so long for; essentially wear these without breaking the seam line of our beloved Princess Leia dresses.
Here are the other models for comparison:
Sadly, they’re not quite seamless but maybe one day.
Well, at least it’s a new model for cool legs :)
I’m too modest for those sans dress :P I’m sure others will like it though
Hmm, too bad that they don’t fit under the dress quite as nicely as you hoped. But I think I’d like the look of the Courinth Waterstrider’s Silken Finery + Black Mageweave/Cindercloth Vest + Ashwalkers Footwraps better than the current version of that look using the Black Mageweave/Cindercloth Leggings. It’s highly probable that I still wouldn’t use that sort of look on any of my own characters, though.
Time to put together a Flashdance mog set together, lol.
@Nav – I’m too modest for those sans dress :P I’m sure others will like it though
@Kam – Me too, esp. on its own.
@Arv – OMG! I love that idea…
